Insurance in Uganda: why there's no single rate

Insurance prices depend on you: your age, your health, how much cover you choose and the insurer. So there's no fair rate to list. Work out how much cover you need first, then compare quotes from licensed insurers.

Every insurer, broker and health membership organisation must be on the IRA's licensed list.

How we get these numbers

A script reads each source every day. If a source can't be read, we keep the last figure with its date and fix the script. If a source hasn't published, the date turns amber.
